No. 19 Gonzaga women beat San Francisco on the road | College basketball

SAN FRANCISCO — Kayla Standish of Ellensburg recorded her third consecutive double-double, Katelan Redmon of Spokane scored 18 points, and No. 19 Gonzaga bounced back from its worst conference loss in a decade to beat San Francisco 79-59 Saturday.
Jazmine Redmon of Spokane added 10 points for the Zags (22-4 overall, 11-2 West Coast Conference), who moved into sole possession of first place in the WCC, a half-game ahead of Brigham Young.
Two days after losing to BYU by 30 points, Gonzaga didn't have any problem handling the smaller Dons (4-22, 2-11) on the road and led by as much as 29 before coach Kelly Graves emptied his bench. The Zags outrebounded San Francisco 53-27 in a game attended by 623.
Standish had team-high totals of 19 points and 10 rebounds. She made 8 of 12 shots from the field.

Brittney Griner scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds as the Bears (25-0, 12-0 Big 12) avenged their last loss by defeating the Aggies (17-6, 8-4) in their first meeting since last year's NCAA tournament.
"You saw why they are the number-one team in the country," Texas A&M coach Gary Blair said.
Texas A&M had lost eight in a row against Baylor before that NCAA regional-final victory in March. That sent the Aggies to their first Final Four on their way to winning the national title.
Baylor coach Kim Mulkey has repeatedly said the long-awaited rematch would be Southeastern Conference-bound Texas A&M's last visit to Waco.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 23 points and UConn (23-2, 11-1 Big East) posted its 99th consecutive home victory, routing the Hoyas (19-6, 8-4).
