Seattle Fire Stations welcome visitors as part of Neighbor Appreciation Day, including celebration of the new Fire Station 16 with tours, meet the firefighters, safety information, children's activities and an antique fire engine, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, 6846 Oswego Place N.E., Seattle; other open-house events 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Fire Stations 5, 6, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 39 and 41, Seattle; free (www.seattle.gov/fire/calendar.htm).
