Flower & Garden Show

Seattle Times garden writers Ciscoe Morris and Val Easton will present seminars at the annual Flower & Garden Show this week at the Washington State Convention Center.

Easton will interview show judges Stephen Orr, Rosalind Creasy and Steve Aitken on "Highlights of the 2012 Show" at the patrons and benefactors portion of The Arboretum Foundation opening-night party Tuesday. Tickets for the events, 5 to 9:30 p.m., are available by calling 206-325-4510.

On Thursday at 10 a.m., Easton will give a seminar "Reap the Rewards of Simple, Fresh Bouquets Year Round" and sign her book "petal & twig."

Ciscoe will give two seminars: "Plant of the Week" at 4 p.m. Wednesday and "Indestructible Plants that Survive the Toughest Conditions" at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
