Prayer service tonight for slain officer and other victims of violence
A prayer service will be held at St. James Cathedral at 6:30 p.m. tonight in remembrance of a slain Seattle police officer, the Fort Hood shooting victims in Texas and other victims of violence across the country.
A prayer service will be held at St. James Cathedral at 6:30 p.m. tonight in remembrance of Seattle police Officer Timothy Brenton, those killed in the Fort Hood shootings in Texas, and other victims of violence around the country.
The ecumenical prayer service will include readings, prayers for peace and meditative music, and will conclude with a candle-lighting.
St. James Cathedral is at 804 Ninth Ave., Seattle.
