Seattle stage actor dies following bicycle accident
Seattle stage actor Mark Chamberlin died Tuesday after a weekend bicycle accident.
Seattle stage actor Mark Chamberlin died Tuesday after a weekend bicycle accident.
In addition to major roles on many Seattle stages (Seattle Rep, Taproot, ACT Theatre), he appeared on Broadway and in a number of film and television projects.
He recently finished a run as Odysseus in Taproot's production of "The Odyssey."
In addition, he was the president of the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter's board of directors, and also served on the boards of the UW School of Drama and New Century Theatre Company.
Chamberlin's agent, Topo Swope, called him one of Seattle's finest actors.
The Seattle Times is looking into the details surrounding the accident and Chamberlin's death.
