MARYSVILLE, Wash. —

Police say a Marysville man shot at two 13-year-old boys who triggered a motion detector as they walked by his home.

Kenneth Aubry told police he'd been recently been hit by burglars and he thought his car was being prowled Sunday night when he came out and fired two shots.

KIRO-TV reports ( http://is.gd/Kz2BK0) no one was hit, and the 46-year-old man is charged with assault.

Aubry pleaded not guilty Tuesday and his bail was set at $25,000.
