LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. —

Vivint, Inc., one of the nation's largest home automation companies, is bringing 400 jobs to the Spokane suburb of Liberty Lake.

The company is opening a sales call center, which will offer consumers security, energy management, and home automation products.

The company says the new jobs will include a full benefits package.

Greater Spokane Incorporated began working with Vivint last fall, after identifying the company as an ideal prospect for the Spokane region.

Governor Jay Inslee says other states were interested in landing the project and he praised Greater Spokane Incorporated and the state Department of Commerce for landing the company.
