Northwest artists nominated for a Grammy

Several Northwest artists have been nominated for Grammy Awards this year. Though Foo Fighters is not a Northwest band, ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl leads the group. Foo Fighters is nominated for eight awards. Seattle artists Eddie Vedder and Fleet Foxes are competing against each other for the Best Folk Album award.
