The Huskies (10-3-3, 2-1-2 Pac-10) had their 10-game unbeaten streak snapped, falling one shy of a school record.

Stanford (17-0, 6-0) got all of its goals in a 15-minute span of the first half.

The Huskies held Stanford to a season-low 12 shots and also became the first team to hold the Cardinal without a second-half goal.

Women's soccer

Kiersten Dallstream's penalty kick goal in overtime lifted Washington State past California 2-1 in Pullman.

It was the first win in overtime this season for Washington State (11-4-1, 3-1-1 Pac-10). California (8-7-1, 2-4-0) lost in an extra session for the third time.

WSU sophomore Jacquelyn Roth converted a free kick from 20 yards out in the 62nd minute to tie the match 1-1.

In the 95th minute, WSU senior Carly Dobratz was taken down in the box and a penalty kick was awarded.

Men's soccer

Oscar Yniguez scored in the 83rd minute as San Jose State beat Seattle University 1-0 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game at Championship Field.

San Jose State (9-6-1, 4-0) did not take a shot in the second half until the game-winner. Ed Walugembe had eight shots for Seattle U. (2-10-1, 1-3).

Men's golf

The Washington men's golf team struggled in the first round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in Windermere, Fla., shooting a combined 20-over-par 308. Washington is tied for 12th out of 15 teams.

Women's tennis

Washington's Denise Dy advanced to the singles final and doubles semifinals along with partner Joyce Ardies at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships at Stanford.
