UW's Nick Taylor finishes seventh in Florida tournament
The Huskies golfer moved up 20 spots to finish tied for seventh in the Isleworth Invitational.
Washington's Nick Taylor, the world's top-ranked amateur golfer, moved up 20 spots to finish tied for seventh at the Isleworth Invitational in Windermere, Fla.
Despite a nice day from Taylor, it was a tough tournament for the third-ranked Huskies, who finished tied for 13th among 15 teams, 32 shots behind champion Oklahoma State in the three-round event.
UW's Richard Lee and Tze Huang Choo tied for 43rd.
It was the final event of the fall season for Washington.
Taylor, whose 2-under 70 was tied for the second-best score Tuesday, finished in the top 10 in all four events he competed in this fall. He finished this week's event at 4-over 220.
Other golf
Washington's women's team was second, one stroke behind Arizona, and three Huskies were in the top 10 after two rounds of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in Nevada. Washington's Anya Alvarez was fourth after shooting a 1-over 73 Tuesday for a 2-under 142 total. Teammates Molly Aronsson (tied for sixth) and Karinn Dickinson (tied for ninth) were also in the top 10.

• Seo Hee Moon of Mukilteo and Erynne Lee of Silverdale were named Rolex Junior All-Americans by the American Junior Golf Association. Moon, 17, had four AJGA top-10 finishes this year.
