And now, the official poster of the Turin Games.
Created by the Armando Testa Agency, its central element is a graphic depiction of the Mole Antonelliana ("the steeple of Antonelli"), the symbol of the city of Turin.
"The Mole" is named for Alessandro Antonelli, the architect who designed it and began construction in 1863. It was intended as a Jewish synagogue, but after a series of issues, it was turned over to the city of Turin for other use. Today, the Mole is the site of the National Museum of Cinema.
At the bottom of the poster is the slogan of the Turin Games: "Passion lives here."
